Three years ago, when we refurbished an 1878 Victorian in the hills of St. Helena, we didn’t just want a house—we wanted a home. Since Day 1 of Faust Haus, we’ve welcomed all manner of wine lovers, but also like-minded artists and artisans, who share our commitment to craft and creativity.
This past year marked our most inspiring and bustling schedule yet. We continued our artist-in-residence program, inviting a pair of painters to Napa to share their unique talents with our community. During our Pact Society Weekend in the spring, a trio of gifted couples from across the country set up shop in Faust Haus, kitting out our home with their menswear and women’s wear collection, cashmere goods, premium olive oil, and small-batch cocktails, and because we’d never want our members to leave hungry, we gathered an assemblage of food trucks out back. In the fall, we got technical. Swiss watchmaker Oris pulled up its Airstream trailer to share its precise timepieces, while legendary German camera maker Leica transformed Faust Haus into a gallery, displaying the work of several of its photographers. In the year ahead, we’ll invite a new roster of makers, designers, and artists back to Faust Haus. And, as always, you’ll be invited, too.
